Project Overview
Gain hands-on exposure in hospitals and clinics around Nanyuki and nearby towns. Shadow doctors and nurses, observe clinical procedures, and assist with patient care under professional supervision.
Ideal for pre-med and nursing students, as well as qualified healthcare professionals seeking international experience. Available as both volunteering and internship.

Itinerary
Week by week
Day 1–2
Arrival & orientation
- Airport pickup and transfer to Nanyuki
- Hospital introduction and supervisor meeting
- Clinical ethics and confidentiality briefing
Week 1
Induction
- Observe departments and daily routines
- Meet medical staff and understand protocols
- Begin supervised shadowing schedule
Weeks 2–6
Clinical placement
- Daily hospital rotations (Mon–Fri)
- Assist with patient intake and basic care tasks
- Optional community health outreach days
Final week
Completion
- Supervisor feedback and reference letter (on request)
