Health preparation
Visit a travel clinic or your doctor 6–8 weeks before departure for advice on vaccinations and malaria prevention. Arrange comprehensive travel and medical insurance. Tell us about allergies, medications, or support needs in advance so we can plan appropriately.
Money and practicalities
Bring a mix of payment options (card and some cash). You will be able to withdraw local currency and buy a SIM or eSIM in Kenya. We cover accommodation and meals on programme days; budget separately for personal spending, weekends, and souvenirs.
Still unsure?
Our team is happy to answer questions before you fly. Better to ask early than guess — especially about flights, visas, and packing for your specific placement.
