Staff support
You are never alone in Kenya. Our local team sets up placements, meets you at the airport, and stays available throughout your stay.
On the ground
- Airport meet-and-greet and transfer to Nanyuki
- Orientation covering culture, safety, and your project
- Introduction to your placement supervisor
- Ongoing check-ins and help solving day-to-day issues
- Support arranging medical care if needed
At your placement
Local supervisors guide your daily work. They help you understand expectations and settle into the team. Our staff remain a second layer of support whenever you need them.
After hours
Evenings and weekends are generally free. Staff can advise on local activities and safe ways to explore. Social time with other volunteers is encouraged so you build a support network quickly.
